Lindstrom Hotel - Laerdalsoyri

The room smelled of cleaning product, how charming. If that wasn't enough, the bathroom had an alarming moldy scent, too! I thought I'd receive a welcome gift for my troubles but guess I'm not special enough for that. Almost thought about giving a good review, just couldn't.

booked the hotel for its quiet and lovely location very close to a nicely arranged and well maintained park, local attractions and what roads to take, and borgund stave church. furthermore, it was steps away from stodnafossen waterfalls. the breakfast was varied for vegetarians, the staff was accommodating.

The staff were extremely helpful and very friendly, it was a bonus. Its location around 10-15 minutes walk from a Roman Catholic cathedral church was peaceful. Furthermore, the area was beautiful.

The cozy atmosphere of the hotel. The staff were kind. The wifi connection was inconsistent at times, a bit frustrating. Still, the local cuisine served at the in-house restaurant was a highlight.

Twin room with large balcony, hot drinks, for instance. Rich breakfast to start the day with omelet, bacon, salmon...

Wi-Fi was very spotty.

The hotel was in a lovely location, the opposite supermarket is very convenient for us. The staff was extremely helpful and very amiable when needed.

Ideally located in a charming village, this cozy hotel offers fine views and good dining. The staff are friendly, and both breakfast and dinner are culinary highlights. Though some amenities are dated, the atmosphere is warm, and the beds are quite comfortable were good.

Fine scenery, very friendly and helpful staff, delicious food in the restaurant, and a super-comfy room made for great comfort .

Issues included outdated amenities, weak Wi-Fi connection, and noise disturbances from nearby motorcycles impacted our relaxation.

The Lindstrom is nestled in a picturesque village with amazing mountain views. The breakfast buffet features an excellent spread, including GF options. The staff is attentive, exemplified when a waiter brought fresh GF bread directly to my table.

Outdated amenities!!! Weak Wi-Fi connection!!! Small room size!!! Poor bathroom facilities!!! No coffee makers or kettles in rooms!!! Inconsistent room temperatures!!! Uncharming exterior of some buildings!!! Issues with door noise!!!

The room was noisy with motorcycle groups outside, but I loved the cultural event nearby.

The fine views of the surrounding mountains and the lovely gardens added to the ambiance. The staff were friendly, providing attentive service. The breakfast was excellent, with a varied buffet and fresh options.

WiFi was weak at times.

The cozy atmosphere made it perfect for relaxation, and the delicious meals were a highlight. We enjoyed a day hiking nearby and took a scenic bike ride through the fine landscape. The staff's warm hospitality enhanced our experience.

On a downside, there was some noise from the street, a bit hard at times to fully relax in our room.
